The Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), 59-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their test against South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, South Atlanta got by Henry County (McDonough, GA), 104-82, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mundy's Mill for a 4A-AAAAA contest on Tuesday, January 8.
