Virginia High School Basketball - Henrico can't hold off Deep Run

The Deep Run Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Henrico Warriors to 60 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeman for a 5A Conference 11 contest on Friday, January 15. Deep Run will battle a Rebels team coming off a 59-48 league win over Lee-Davis (Mechanicsville, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-6.

The Warriors (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Armstrong was nudged by Henry (Ashland, VA), 48-47, in a non-league contest.
