Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lehigh Lightning (Lehigh Acres, FL), 14-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Island Coast upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Gators travel to IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL) to battle the Ascenders in a non-league test on Friday, March 27. The Ascenders come into the test with a record of 9-6. IMG Academy Gray lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL)

With the defeat, Lehigh falls to 3-15 on the season. The Lightning travel to East Lee County (Lehigh Acres, FL) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 7. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-14.
