Kansas High School Basketball - Greeley County knocked off by Quinter
January 7, 2017: Tribune, KS 67879 The Quinter Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Greeley County Jackrabbits to 40 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Plains/Healy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Quinter will battle a team coming off a 79-36 non-league loss to LaCrosse (LaCrosse, KS). The record now stands at 0-6.
The Jackrabbits (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS). The Wildcats enter the Northwest Kansas contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Wallace County ran past Rawlins County (Atwood, KS), 56-50, in a league contest.
