The Salisbury Hornets tipped the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons basketball team by a final score of 62-59 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hornets face the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) in a Central Carolina 2A game, on Tuesday, January 5. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record.

With the defeat, Southeast Guilford moves to 2-7 on the season. The Falcons travel to The Burlington School (Burlington, NC) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league outing on Monday, December 28. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 12-0.
