Match Summary
After a brilliant match against Elizabeth earlier in the week, Harrison was unable to muster the same tenacity against the Canon City Tigers and thus lost 0-2. While the Panthers made major strides in improving their serve game, they were unable to protect their servers and made 50 unforced errors while only earning 12 points. Although Canon City demonstrated impressive ball control balanced with aggression, Harrison was disappointed by their response, particularly because they posed the potential to really challenge Canon City overall. Planning to learn from the match, the HHS JV team returns to practice ready to make some positive changes as they prepare to face their rival Sierra in the next match of the season.
