New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Benedict's Prep nudges St. Joseph Regional
January 10, 2016: Montvale, NJ 07645 In Sunday's non-league outing, the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) basketball squad edged the host St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ), by a count of 61-58.
The Gray Bees (15-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mott Haven (Bronx, NY). The Mavericks go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record.
The Green Knights now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bergen Catholic for a Big North - United outing on Tuesday, January 12. St. Joseph Regional will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 65-62 non-league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-0.
