Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), 86-78 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, November 27. Amphitheater will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Sabercats enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ).

With the defeat, Red Mountain moves to 2-2 on the year. The Mountain lions host Dobson (Mesa, AZ) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 30. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 4-1. Dobson lost 77-67 in their recent non-league game against Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
