Georgia High School Lacrosse - Mill Creek sneaks past Duluth

February 26, 2011: Hoschton, GA 30548

The Mill Creek Hawks lacrosse squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Duluth Wildcats to 6 in the Hawks league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Panthers go into the AAAAA Area 4 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Parkview was tipped by Brookwood (Snellville, GA), 5-4, in a league contest.

The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peachtree Ridge for a AAAAA Area 4 contest on Wednesday, March 2. Duluth will confront a Lions team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
