California High School Basketball - La Salle nips San Marcos
December 10, 2016: Santa Barbara, CA 93110 La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, La Salle upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Damien (La Verne, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 6-0.
The Royals now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Righetti for a non-league test on Monday, December 12. San Marcos will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 70-59 non-league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
