Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA) and the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), saw Park View's basketball squad hold off Broad Run by a score of 88-84.

With the victory, Park View improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers (Washington, DC) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 10. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers lost 52-51 in their recent league challenge against Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC)
