Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) and the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), saw Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology's basketball squad trounce East Burke by a score of 53-30.

With the victory, Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Cardinal travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Freedom won 92-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Enka (Enka, NC)
