Washington High School Lacrosse - Kamiak Mercer Island
April 21, 2011: Mukilteo, WA 98275 Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo, WA), 12-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Islanders now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Issaquah for a Division I challenge on Friday, April 22. Mercer Island will meet a Eagles team coming off a 21-7 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Ballard Beavers (Seattle, WA) in a Division II challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. Kamiak will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
