California High School Basketball - Holy Names overwhelms Redwood Christian
December 12, 2018: Oakland, CA 94618 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA) and the visiting Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA), saw Holy Names's basketball squad wallop Redwood Christian by a tally of 47-23.
With the victory, Holy Names improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Bay Counties - General challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Contra Costa Christian lost 40-26 in their recent league challenge against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the KIPP King Lions (San Lorenzo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 14. Redwood Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 65-30 non-league win over McClymonds (Oakland, CA).
