The Riverside Pirates topped the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers basketball team by a final score of 41-25 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 23. Riverside will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record.

With the defeat, Ridgemont moves to 9-9 on the year. The Golden gophers travel to Ada (Ada, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Ada won 56-47 in their recent non-league contest against Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH)
