The Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) basketball knocked off the host Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS), 41-22 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles go into the 1A Region 1 test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Falkner was beaten by East Union (Blue Springs, MS), 59-56, in a non-league test.

The Rebels now own a 0-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheeler for a 1A Region 1 test on Friday, January 29. Thrasher will clash with a squad coming off a 57-53 league win over Pine Grove (Ripley, MS). The record now stands at 15-6.
