With the victory, New Hanover improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to confront the Screaming Eagle in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Friday, January 5. The Screaming Eagle come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Ashley lost 68-65 in their recent league challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge, on Friday, January 5. E.A. Laney will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 68-65 league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC).
