In Friday's league outing, the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) basketball squad nipped the visiting Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO), by a margin of 73-71.

The Trojans (6-15) will now prepare for their outing against Hinkley (Aurora, CO). The Thunderbirds go into the 5A/4A East Metro outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Hinkley got by Adams City (Commerce City, CO), 64-44, in a league outing.

The Thunderhawks now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Rangeview for a 5A/4A East Metro outing on Tuesday, February 17. Prairie View will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 95-58 league win over Westminster (Westminster, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 16-5.
