Iowa High School Basketball - Sioux City East winner over Rock Valley
January 7, 2017: Sioux City, IA 51106 The Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) basketball felled the visiting Rock Valley Rockets (Rock Valley, IA), 67-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Black Raiders (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Lynx go into the Missouri River bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Lincoln topped Blair (Blair, NE), 84-59, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Rockets play the West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Rock Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 82-65 league loss to Sheldon (Sheldon, IA).
