August 30, 2014: St. Johnsbury, VT 05819 The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers thwarted the visiting Rutland Raiders football team by a count of 20-7 in Saturday's league outing.
With the win, St. Johnsbury Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to encounter the Bobwhites in a Division I outing on Friday, September 5. The Bobwhites go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Bellows Free Academy won 25-7 in their recent league outing against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT)
With the loss, Rutland moves to 0-1 on the season. The Raiders host Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
