In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Passaic Valley Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 61-39 triumph over the Passaic Indians.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the DePaul Spartans (Wayne, NJ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 19. Passaic Valley will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 10-1 record after their 67-58 league win over Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ).
