Game Summary

In a very early season test for the Bishops they traveled to Harrisonburg Virginia to take on Eastern Mennonite a perennial state power in the first conference match of the season. Mennonite wasted little time in pushing the Bishops back into the their defensive third of the field. Scoring four times in the first half they opened a sizable lead that the Bishops could do little to counter. With three goals in later stages of the second half Mennonite took the contest by a score of 7-0. Ashley Hodges played a solid game in defense and Alexandra Rapadas made some strong runs as a striker but to little avail.
