The Pelham Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Homewood Patriots to 44 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thompson for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Pelham will meet a Warriors team coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Helena (Helena, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-17.

The Patriots (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bibb County (Centreville, AL). The Choctaws enter the non-league contest with a 8-16 record.
