The Del Norte Nighthawks basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting San Pasqual Golden Eagles to 46 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 6-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Dieguito Academy for a Avocado - East contest on Friday, February 20. Del Norte will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 76-47 league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-15.

The Golden Eagles (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Escondido (Escondido, CA). The Cougars enter the Avocado - East contest with a 18-7 record. In their last contest, Escondido triumphed over Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA), 59-50, in a league contest.
