With the win, Wilkes Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles host Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to encounter the Huskies in a Mountain Valley 1A/2A outing on Friday, September 30. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Ashe County won 56-19 in their recent league outing against Alleghany (Sparta, NC)
With the loss, West Wilkes moves to 3-2 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Starmount (Boonville, NC) to face the Rams in a Mountain Valley 1A/2A bout on Friday, September 30. The Rams enter the bout with a record of 1-4. Starmount won 40-20 in their recent league bout against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
