August 25, 2009: LaPorte, IN 46350 LaPorte Slicers (LaPorte, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Slicers clash with the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a Duneland match, on Thursday, August 27. LaPorte will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hobart (Hobart, IN).
With the loss, Mishawaka drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Marian (Mishawaka, IN) to clash with the Knights in a Northern Indiana match on Saturday, August 29. The Knights come into the match with a record of 1-0. Marian won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)
