California High School Basketball - Pittsburg can't hold off Liberty

The Liberty Patriots basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 38 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendale for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Liberty will meet a Nitros team coming off a 44-24 non-league win over Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Nitros record now stands at 5-4.

The Pirates (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Chancellors enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Chatsworth was nudged by Glendale (Glendale, CA), 44-24, in a non-league contest.
