New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Westfield overwhelms Morristown-Beard
April 16, 2011: Westfield, NJ 07090 The Westfield Blue Devils triumphed over the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson lacrosse squad by a score of 12-5 in Saturday's league bout.
With the triumph, Westfield upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 20. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Scotch Plains-Fanwood won 10-9 in their recent league bout against Cranford (Cranford, NJ)
With the defeat, Morristown-Beard drops to 0-6 on the season. The Crimson host Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ) to play the Golden Panthers in a Freedom bout on Tuesday, April 19. The Golden Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Pequannock won 12-11 in their recent non-league bout against Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ)
