California High School Baseball - Foothill loses to Colfax
March 13, 2013: Sacramento, CA 95842 In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Colfax Falcons baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Foothill Mustangs.
The Falcons (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen go into the Pioneer Valley game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Placer overcame Center (Antelope, CA), 5-2, in a league game.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Bruins go into the Pioneer Valley game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Bear River was overwhelmed by Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 11-5, in a league game.
Game Summary
Colfax high school defeated Foothill high school in their league opener by a score of 15-0. The Falcons were carried offensively by David Campbell, who was 3-for-5 with six RBI at the plate. On the mound, Wes Woodward (4IP), Devon Loomis (2IP), and Ryan Glazner (1IP) combined to shutout Foothill, yielding just four hits.
