October 5, 2018: New Castle, PA 16101 The Shenango Wildcats football team (New Castle, PA), was beaten 42-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lincoln Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA)
The Wolverine (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Panthers come into the WPIAL 2A Midwestern challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Riverside was beaten by Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA), 34-18, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southmoreland for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 12. Shenango will meet a Scotties team coming off a 56-27 league loss to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 3-4.
