Kopperl Eagles (Kopperl, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kopperl upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Walnut Springs (Walnut Springs, TX) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, February 12. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 14-8.
