The Gettysburg Battlers topped the host Wakpala Sioux volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Battlers now have a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka/Bowdle for a B District 6 test on Monday, October 24. Gettysburg will confront a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Faulkton (Faulkton, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 18-4.

The Sioux (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Dupree (Dupree, SD). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Dupree beat McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
