Amanda Gross

Amanda Gross has been named player of the year. "Amanda has led the team with a school record of 339 kills and a hitting percentage of .616 which lead her to become the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 7A State Player of the Year as well as a finalist for the News Press All-Area player of the year. Amanda also had a 93% serving percent with 65 aces and 172 total points. What's been most pronounced this season is Amanda's defensive play. She had another school record of 329 digs and a career record of an astounding 1007 digs in her four years here at Ida Baker. The school is very proud that she is the first (but certainly not the last) Division I volleyball player to come out of Ida Baker. The future is exciting to know Amanda's passion will continue to the next level. "
