Megan Good has been named player of the year. "Megan was the Player of the Year in the District, Region 29, West Region in 2013. She also was selected as Virginia Player of the Week for 4 weeks. Megan was also awarded AVCA/Maxprep Honorable Mention All-American (one of the top 100 players in the country. She broke the Virginia High School League records for career kills with 1716 total kills and career digs with 1885 total digs in her four year high school career at Fort Defiance High School. Megan will go down as one of the best players at Fort Defiance High School and in the state of Virginia."
