Taylor Plattner has been named player of the year. "Taylor Plattner is well deserving of the Player of the Year Award. Taylor followed up a Junior season where she was named the the Missouri Class 2 All State Team by helping us to a 20-8 record and an appearance in the Class 2 District 13 Championship game. Taylor finishes her career as Archie's career scoring leader totaling 1,765 points. She also finished the year as the career three point leader with 149 3 pointers made. She averaged 21 points per contest this year while getting all the attention from opposing teams. As good as Taylor was offensively, her defense was huge for us as well. She was one of our top defensive players and led us in steals with 2.5 per game as well as rebounds with 7.5 per game. She truly was one of the best players in the state this year in our class. Taylor is one of the hardest workers I've ever met and it was a pleasure to coach her. She has a very bright future ahead of her. Congratulations Taylor on receiving the 2015 Archie Player of the Year award."
