Niyon Ashley has been named player of the year. "Being only his second year playing at the High school level, Niyon has become one of the most underrated players in our Region. He became a game changer for NMHS and to see his game skills elevate, is a great thing for him playing on the collegiate level. His attribute to the team was blocking shots, running the court with the ability to shoot the 3 and some nice post moves."
