Maggie Viniard

Maggie Viniard has been named player of the year. "Maggie Viniard is the MaxPreps Jamestown Player of the Year. She led her team to back-to-back State Championship Matches. Maggie was overlooked by the coaches in 4A East Region but her numbers this year cannot be overlooked by the coaches at Jamestown. She has All-State numbers and her ability to run a quick tempo offense from anywhere on the court enabled Jamestown's offense to be nearly unstoppable. Maggie played the entire season with a bulging disc and showed great courage in stepping on the court often playing through pain to help her teammates reach the 4A State Championship match. In the state championship match she put up a game-high 41 assists, 15 Digs, 1 Block, and 10 Service Points with no missed serves. She was the best setter on the court in the Loudoun County match. Maggie was 1st in 4A with 891 Assists, 1st with 10.2 Assists per set, 11th in 4A with 49 Aces, 7th in 4A with 260 Digs (1st among setters), and her 305 Service Points puts her 7th All-Time in VHSL history."
