Kaylee Prather has been named player of the year. "Kaylee Prather has had both an amazing year and career as a Lady Jacket. She leaves the program holding 10 school records: Batting Average for Season and Career, On Base % for Season and Career; Stolen Bases for Season and Career; Runs Scored for Season and Career; and Walks for Season and Career. Her amazing talent and work ethic has earned her numerous honors and awards. She was named Offensive MVP for District 17AA this year, as well as being named to the TGCA All-Star Team. Kaylee is definitely deserving to be named this year's Team MVP, as she has led this team all year long as the sole senior. She has led both on and off the field, not only through her amazing athletic ability, but also with her work ethic. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for her as she continues her career in softball at LSU-Alexandria in the fall. Congratulations Kaylee Prather!"
