Laina Carnes has been named player of the year. "Laina is Lexington High Schools player of the year. She was a strong leader on the court and led our team in assists. Laina was selected as an All-State playeor for the second time as well as an All-Star player for 2014. Laina was the Region 5 Player of the year. Laina has been on the varsity team since a freshman and will continue her volleyball career at The University of Mississippi. "
