Raquel Archie

Raquel Archie has been named player of the year. "Raquel ended her senior season with 21-0 record and earned the school's first team Division V State Girls Volleyball Championship. Raquel's spectacular performance as Middle Blocker/Hitter at state playoffs was recognized around the state. Raquel became stronger and tougher throughout the year until the culmination of the Division V State Championship with her team. Raquel was the heart and the soul of her team and everyone looked to her for direction on and off the court as it did again at State Playoffs. Raquel's leadership and skills shined and was recognized by fans, coaches, and athletes throughout state playoffs. Ms. Archie led the Division in almost every volleyball category, an all-round player. Her stats in Maxpreps shows much more. The most noticeable skill about her was her kills, Raquel record high was 40 kills for one game. Raquel outstanding performance throughout the year has earned her the right to be in the final selection for Player of the Year for Arizona."
