Olivia Stringer has been named player of the year. "If you ask any player on our Varsity team what contributed the most to our success this year, a common answer would be our senior leadership. Olivia Stringer led our team in passion, discipline, and joy, the three virtues we decided to focus on this year. From the youngest, most inexperienced players to her fellow seniors, Olivia spread a contagious desire for excellence among our team that pushed us all the way up to the State Championship. Without her confidence, passion, hard work, and deep love of the game and her teammates, the Lady Raiders may not have grasped that 4 peat. Olivia will be missed next year, but I have no doubts her spirit and hard work has lit a flame in the hearts of each underclassman, and the Lady Raiders will continue to strive for excellence on and off the court. We wish Olivia the best of luck in her next step as a Lady Panther at Birmingham Southern. "
