Analise De La Roca has been named player of the year. "For the second year in a row, De La Roca gets our choice as the Player Of The Year for Port Of Los Angeles High softball. The New Mexico State-bound senior leaves our program as the all-time career strikeout queen, posting a great final season pitching stats: a 28-2 record, 0.60 earned run average, 357 strikeouts in 186 innings pitched, only allowing 26 runs (10 unearned), 27 walks & 6 hit batters. Hitting wise, De La Roca was solid with a .609 batting average, 53 hits, 9 home runs, 7 doubles, 3 triples and 32 RBIs, complete with a .673 on base percentage and 1.068 slugging percentage, only striking out three times in 107 plate appearances. For her career, De La Roca ends with a lifetime pitching record of 74-10, a 1.04 ERA with 894 strikeouts. Career hitting stats include a lifetime .467 batting average, 19 home runs and 120 RBIs.
