Arizona High School Football - Nogales gets by Sahuaro
October 10, 2008: Tucson, AZ 85710 The Nogales Apaches football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Sahuaro Cougars to 21 in the Apaches league victory on Friday.
The Apaches now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sabino for a 4A Kino battle on Friday, October 17. Nogales will play a Sabercats squad coming off a 56-0 league win over Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 5-1.
Coming up next, the Cougars play the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a 4A Kino battle, on Friday, October 17. Sahuaro will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 42-3 league win over Desert View (Tucson, AZ).
