September 8, 2006: Ocala, FL 34475 The Dunnellon Tigers ran past the host Vanguard Knights football squad by a final score of 28-3 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williston for a 3A District 5 outing on Friday, September 15. Dunnellon will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 28-10 non-league loss to Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Vanguard moves to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Belleview (Belleview, FL) to confront the Rattlers /Diamo in a 4A District 6 outing on Friday, September 15. The Rattlers /Diamo go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Belleview lost 40-14 in their recent non-league outing against North Marion (Citra, FL)
