Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI), 67-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Ovid-Elsie upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Marauders travel to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI) to encounter the Indians in a Tri-Valley - Central bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Chesaning won 55-45 in their recent league bout against Hemlock (Hemlock, MI)
