Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 78-22 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Myers Park improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 21. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Ardrey Kell won 61-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 20. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 58-42 non-league loss to Stuart Cramer (Belmont, NC).
