The Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) basketball felled the host Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX), 70-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (17-8) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX). The Falcons go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Bishop Dunne defeated Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX), 63-62, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host John Paul II for a TAPPS 5A District 1 test on Friday, January 16. Nolan Catholic will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 55-39 league win over Gainesville State (Gainesville, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-8.
