Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pagosa Springs upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 28. The Maroons come into the bout with a record of 15-5. Alamosa won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO)
