Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge thwarts Episcopal

The Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA), 72-61 in Friday's non-league test.

The Barons (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Peddie (Hightstown, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Peddie notched a victory over Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA), 68-58, in a non-league test.

The Maroon now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Episcopal Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 19. Episcopal will encounter a Churchmen squad coming off a 68-58 non-league loss to Peddie (Hightstown, NJ). The Churchmen record now stands at 5-2.
