The Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) baseball nipped the host Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), 10-9 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lumberjacks play the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 25. Diboll will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Longhorns enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX).
